Believing the arts is an integral part of education, CoActive Content donated a FREE show to the community of PLAZA DE LA RAZA, a cultural center for the arts and education serving the Eastside neighborhoods of Los Angeles.

CoActive Content is donating a portion of the proceeds from every run of "The King of The Desert" to local and national charities.

2011 Run Benefits Charity.

A portion of the proceeds from the performances will benefit The National Latino Children's Institute, the Oscar De La Hoya Foundation, and the Youth Project Institute.

Little show with a big benefit

CoActive Content is donating 10% of the proceeds from the run of "The King of The Desert" to the National Latino Children's Institute (NLCI), the only national Latino organization that focuses exclusively on children. NLCI's mission is to focus the nation's attention on issues and challenges facing young Latinos and to assist communities in finding solutions.

Incorporated in 1997 in Texas, NLCI has its headquarters in San Antonio and is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, 501(c) 3 tax-exempt organization. NLCI's mission is to serve as a voice for young Hispanics. NLCI staff fulfills the mission by promotion and implementing the National Latino Children's Agenda.
